Background

Third Line Analytics is the brain child of a small group of techies. But not just any old techies. The team are mission-led data engineering and data science guys who specialise in big (and by big, I mean massive) data analysis.They’ve developed a data real time intelligence platform and to get in front of the right clients they required clear, explainer copy to populate their new website.

My work

This has to be one of the most interesting and unusual projects I have worked on, a complex subject matter I was not initially familiar with, but soon learnt a lot about.

The brief was to review first draft copy and then create further clear, concise content that would talk directly to clients. A small team was formed (consisting of myself, a graphic designer and web developer), and together we worked to produce and launch a sophisticated website in a very short space of time. This proved to be an extremely rewarding assignment and I very much look forward to future opportunities with TLA.

Third Line Analytics commissioned Holly from Friday Marketing to write copy for its new B2B website encompassing 6 different pages. The brief involved making a technically challenging and complex offer understandable to those who aren’t experts in data analytics, addressing prospects in a friendly down to earth way. Holly’s copy was truly excellent: she met the brief to a tee and ensured that key sales messages weren’t lost amidst myriad technical explanations. The result is a website that has been characterised by colleagues and prospects as being both visually arresting and easy to understand. 3LA would not hesitate to recommend Holly given her ability to clearly grasp the essentials of the brief and produce very high quality copy text.
